Cheekwood is a 55-acre botanical garden and art museum located on the historic Cheek estate in Nashville, TN. The Cheekwood mission is to celebrate and preserve Cheekwood as a historical landmark where beauty and excellence in art and horticulture nurture the spirit and serve as inspiration for a diverse and broad audience.

The challenge

Purchasing online tickets was cumbersome and difficult for the vast majority of members and visitors. Cheekwood Director of Membership, Shelley Rozier, checked several calendaring options and heard about Social Goods’ calendar add-on in a Blackbaud chat group. After a few conversations, it was apparent that Social Good was “the solution we were looking for!”

The solution

After much research and consideration, Rozier turned to Social Good and a soft launch of digital membership cards was underway.

Checkwood's system has become more easily navigable online and they can do the things they wanted to do and couldn’t with generic Altru. They’ve included additional SGS modules and workflows that have also improved the online user experience.
